Massage therapy is healing technique that uses physical pressure applied to soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments) to stimulates blood flow and promotes healing. Massage is one of the oldest forms of healing. Hippocrates, “The Father of Medicine”, writes of the benefits of bodywork in the 4th century, B.C.

Massage has a multitude of benefits to the human body. It aids in pain relief, tissue repair, stress reduction and and toxin removal among many other things. There are several styles of massage therapy ranging from very gentle touch to deep tissue work. Our massage therapists use a variety of techniques to accommodate the needs of each person.
